Sweden has announced more than 100,000 jobs in various sectors to tackle its workforce shortages. Foreign applicants are welcome to apply as more than 20 sectors are opening jobs.
Sweden currently faces a massive shortage of skilled workers as the country looks outside once again to fill its vacant positions in more than 20 sectors.
The European Labor Authority stated that Sweden is in need of all kinds of professionals ranging from healthcare to IT and Engineering. Skilled workers can benefit from this opportunity as multiple arrays of jobs are open in Sweden.
This opportunity isn’t just needed for healthcare workers or in IT. According to sources, Sweden is in need of workers in plumbing, carpentry, Welding, Healthcare, Engineering, Agriculture, and machinery mechanics. High paying jobs are available in Sweden and the state of Sweden is encouraging foreign workers to apply.
However, due to the already present skilled individuals in Sweden, certain occupations have a higher occupation than others. Occupations like Banking, Real Estate, and photography have a higher competition for foreign workers.
Stockholm is leading in terms of job opportunities followed by Western Sweden. For EU citizens, there is no requirement of a visa while applicants of other countries are required to apply for a visa.
An employment offer letter needs to be received by the applicant before filing for a visa with a minimum gross wage of 1220 Euros alongside health insurance and pension.
