US Ambassador to launch ‘Recharge Pakistan’ Initiative with an investment of $77.8 million

The US Ambassador Donald Bloom has launched a new initiative by the name of ‘Recharge Pakistan’ with an investment of an astonishing $77.8 million for the purpose of fighting environmental issues in Pakistan.

The Inauguration Ceremony was held in Islamabad in which Donald Bloom expressed his heartfelt satisfaction on this significant development. He highlighted how Pakistan has been tackling the global climate change issue for the last two decades.

He stated that the program is an excellent endeavour for Pakistan as it will help in flood prevention and water resource management for the country. Pakistan is in the top 10 most impacted countries due to global climate change.

He also emphasised how this program will steer Pakistan in the right direction and towards green infrastructure.

The ‘Recharge Pakistan’ initiative is one of the best ways to tackle the climate change issue and fight off the ecological threats faced by the country at the moment.
