CDA to build modern cinemas in Islamabad

All of the board members were present for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board’s thirteenth meeting, which was chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

The assembly resolved to revitalize Islamabad’s film industry by repurposing lands that had been allotted for the building of cinemas in compliance with the legislation.

The meeting also approved the construction of four new movie theater locations in the city, which will be constructed in compliance with contemporary specifications and global norms. The board also resolved to enhance financial concerns by subordinating the Resource Wing to Member Finance.

The Resource Wing has been placed under Member Finance in an effort to more efficiently meet income expectations. In addition to introducing technology and contemporary procedures in the organization’s financial and other affairs, the Resource Wing will seek for new income streams and discover any flaws in the revenue collecting procedure.

It was also determined during the meeting to use transaction advisory services for the IT Park located in Sector G-10. The Public-Private Partnership Authority was given permission by the CDA Board to seek advisory services for a range of projects, and the feasibility and design of the bus terminal submitted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) were accepted.

In order to further enhance Islamabad’s sewage treatment system, the board also authorized the division’s transfer under DG Water: the City Sewerage Division. These choices are meant to enhance the city’s infrastructure and service.
