DG Customs robbed at Gunpoint in Islamabad

In shocking news, The Directorate General of Customs have been robbed at gunpoint in Islamabad near the Ramna Police station. This incident hasn’t just caused concerns but also a lot of conspiracy related to the robbery of DG Customs.

According to sources, the DG Customs parked his card beside the road and went for a walk. While on the walk, two armed men on a motorcycle came and put a gun to his driver’s temple. They took his mobile phone and fled the scene before anyone could do anything.

The DG’s driver Gufran Mehmood immediately filed a case at the Ramna police station and demanded immediate action to recover the mobile phone and put the culprits behind bars.

This incident came as a result of the increasing robberies in the Federal Capital. Even though there have been some controversial reports released, this still marks as one of the most high-profile individual robberies to have occurred inside the territory of the Federal Capital. 

Some Reports from the Interior Ministry state that the federal capital has no registered theft cases or robberies while other reports state there have been almost 2053 registered thefts in 2022 alone.
