This new initiative was announced after the Driving License offices and Khidmat Centers that provide driving licenses were flooded with applicants after the Punjab government launched a crackdown against individuals driving without a valid driving license or permit.

Applying for an online learner license in Punjab is not a hectic process. If an applicant wishes to apply online, all they need is a set of documents and a stable internet connection. Below is a step-by-step guide to apply for your learner driving license online in Punjab.

1. Firstly, open your internet browser and go to the DLIMS website. Click here to go to the website.

2. If you already have an account, you can sign-in using your existing account or create a new account on the homepage.

3. Once you’ve logged in with an account, you can fill out the Learner permit form.

4. The page will prompt you to upload certain required documents. Upload the necessary documents.

5. Once you’ve uploaded the required documents, you need to pay the service fees.

6. Generate your PSID and pay through an online banking app.

• You will also need a scanned copy of your CNIC both front and back side.
• For candidates above 50 years of age, a medical certificate is also required.
