TOKYO – The Japanese government has announced a major relaxation for citizens from Saudi citizens under which the visa rules would be eased subject to specific rules.
The Japanese Embassy in Saudi Arabia shared the development on Wednesday regarding the new visa initiative. This change means that Saudi citizens can get a visa allowing a 90-day stay over three years, starting from December 4, this year; the visa in this regard can be utilized for the purpose of tourism, business, and visiting relatives or friends.
To apply, Saudi citizens must visit the embassy or consulate in person, though online applications are still available for single-entry visas. The embassy expressed hope that these measures would strengthen the bond between Japan and Saudi Arabia.
