ISLAMABAD – Pakistanis applying for a Chinese visa would not be required to submit fingerprints for the said purpose under a fresh rule.
The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad announced the exemption of fingerprint collection for visa applicants from Pakistan in a major relief for visa seekers.
According to an official notice posted on the website on Monday, the embassy will exempt fingerprint collection for qualified applicants from Pakistan who apply for single/double entries of M, L (group), Q, and C visa categories.
The notice elaborated that the exemption would continue till December 31st of next year, without specifying any reason for having granted such an exemption.
Pakistanis travel to China in large numbers for multiple purposes including study, tourism and to explore economic opportunities and the fingerprint collection exemption would save their time and effort.
