UAE announces visa-free travel agreement with Mongolia

UAE announces visa-free travel agreement with Mongolia

DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates and Mongolia have formalized a visa-free travel agreement by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding reciprocal visa exemptions.


As per the memorandum, citizens from the United Arab Emirates possessing regular, diplomatic, special, and mission passports are eligible to enter Mongolia without a visa, with a provision for a maximum stay of 30 days per visit.


Likewise, the agreement also permits citizens of Mongolia with diplomatic, official, and regular passports to enter the United Arab Emirates without the requirement of a visa.


Moreover, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of the State of the UAE, and Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, officially endorsed the memorandum as part of a comprehensive effort to fortify the bilateral ties connecting the United Arab Emirates and Mongolia.


The agreement focuses on streamlining travel procedures between the two nations, marking a pivotal development in fostering collaboration across domains such as politics, economics, culture, education, and other shared areas of interests.


Dubai, a cosmopolitan hub in the UAE, houses a population of over three million. The cityscape is adorned with architectural marvels such as the Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeirah. Renowned for luxury shopping, desert safari, and cultural sites like the Dubai Museum, the city thrives on a diverse economy propelled by tourism, real estate, and international trade, positioning it as a global business and leisure destination in the Middle East.


On the other hand, Mongolia is a vast and landlocked nation in East Asia with a population exceeding three million. Known for its nomadic traditions and stunning landscapes, Mongolia features the Gobi Desert and historic sites like the Erdene Zuu Monastery. The economy revolves around mining, agriculture, and herding. Rich in Natural resources, Mongolia continues to undergo economic diversification while preserving its unique cultural heritage and picturesque scenery.
