Bus driver died when a fire broke out in a passenger bus after it collided with a stationary truck on Motorway M-4 near Pansaira on Thursday.
A tragic accident occurred on the M4 Motorway early Thursday morning when a passenger bus traveling from Dera Ghazi Khan to Rawalpindi collided with a moving truck near Pansira. The crash caused a fire in the bus, and despite quick action from authorities, the driver tragically lost his life.
There were 43 passengers aboard the bus at the time of the incident. Motorway police and rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene to manage the fire and evacuate the passengers. The Sector Commander of the Motorway Police led the rescue operation, ensuring all passengers were safely removed from the bus before the fire could spread further.
Thanks to the swift response, the remaining passengers were evacuated in time, and the fire was controlled before it could cause more harm. The accident highlights the importance of timely rescue efforts and coordination during emergencies. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
