COAS Asim Munir Attends Aerial Exercises of Indus Shield 2023

The Chief of Army Staff Gen. Asim Munir recently attended ongoing Aerial exercises at an Operational Air base of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for Indus Shield 2023.

There were numerous other guests as well including the Air Chief of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Reports stated that the Air Chief of Hungary was also present and attended the ongoing Aerial exercises. When the Chief of Army Chief arrived he was welcomed by the Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Baber.

After he arrived, he was was formally introduced to all the foreign individuals present there alongside the Principal staff of the Pakistan Air Force.

After the formal introductions Gen. Asim Munir alongside all other dignitaries present from abroad were briefed shortly about the scope of the exercises. They were informed how Pakistan Air Force is integrating modern Aerial tactics to solidify and strengthen the Air Force. They also extended how this is going to foster cooperation and interoperability between the Foreign Air Forces present.

The Chief of Army Staff spoke on this honorable occasion and gave credits to PAF over this great endeavor for the modernization of the Air Force. He also expressed his gratitude to the Air Force of 14 Allied nations present there as this is going to deepen the trust and operability between the Forces of the Allied countries.

 He also praised the PAF,s Air Power Centre of Excellence on this amazing event and for the organisation of such an event on such a large scale and how beneficial it will be for the Pakistani Air Force. He later went onto display that he was very impressed by the tech and infrastructure present at the Centre of Excellence of PAF and how it played a crucial role to execute this exercise smoothly.
