E-Rozgaar 2.0 launched in Punjab

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) gas introduced the e-Rozgaar 2.0 initiative to equip young people in Pakistan with essential digital skills.

According to a press statement, the construction of e-Rozgaar centers in Gujranwala and Multan was made possible by new agreements with The Learning Hub and City College, which formalized the program.

Sajid Latif, the e-Government Director General (DG) at PITB, signed the agreements. Waheed Ahmad, Managing Director, signed on behalf of City College Multan, while Sana Ajmal, Principal, represented The Learning Hub in Gujranwala.

Additionally present at the signing event was Ahmad Islam Syan, Director of the PITB Skills Development Wing.

The e-Rozgaar 2.0 program from PITB is an improved version of its earlier online training courses created especially to provide young Pakistanis with reasonably priced, in-person instruction.

This program will provide training to participants in fields with high demand, like, development of website, digital marketing, content creation and additional abilities needed for the modern digital industry, such as graphic design.

This redesigned curriculum allows participants to explore online revenue streams and is designed to address the demands of the evolving digital economy in addition to emphasizing skill development.

The mission of e-Rozgaar 2.0 was highlighted by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf, who said, “We aim to increase digital literacy in Pakistan by offering structured and practical courses that enable students to investigate online income opportunities, especially in freelancing.”
