Peshawar – The Peshawar Police in a remarkable effort has launched an app named Find My Cell Phone (FMC) to stop the sale and purchase of stolen and snatched mobile phones in the city.
The Peshawar police stated that this will ensure that people and police both can find the culprits in charge of snatchings. Moreover, they said that this will make it possible to track the sale and purchase of cellphones.

The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) stated in a statement that a form has been given for mobile dealers on the app. The registration form will hold data of a buyer or seller such as their CNIC number, Address, Photograph, and Guardians. The dealers can use this app to find out if the cellphone being sold to them is stolen or snatched as well.
Moreover, this data will also be made available to the Peshawar Police Control Room, and the concerned Police Station.
