Govt rolls out improved complaint process for BISP

The government of Pakistan has further simplified the complaint process for eligible women under the Benazir Income Support Programme.

The move aims to ensure transparency, timely payments, and protection for beneficiaries across the country. According to the program administration, women facing payment delays, illegal deductions, or any other issue can now easily register complaints through official channels. Authorities have clearly stated that no fee or deduction is allowed under the program. Beneficiaries must receive the full financial assistance amount without any cuts. Therefore, women are encouraged to immediately report any misconduct or fraud.

In addition, women can visit their nearest BISP Tehsil office to file complaints directly. They can also contact the national helpline at 0800-26477, where officials register complaints and provide guidance. However, applicants must provide valid CNIC details to complete the complaint process. This step ensures proper verification and quick resolution of issues.

Moreover, the administration has warned beneficiaries not to share money or documents with unauthorized agents. Officials have advised women to protect their personal information and report suspicious activities without delay. By strengthening monitoring and awareness, the program aims to eliminate exploitation and improve service delivery.

Furthermore, citizens can visit the official BISP website at www.bisp.gov.pk and follow its social media platforms for updates and accurate information. The initiative reflects the government’s continued commitment to supporting deserving families, especially women, through transparent and efficient financial assistance. Overall, the improved complaint system will enhance accountability, reduce fraud, and ensure that financial aid reaches those who need it most in a secure and dignified manner.
