Punjab CM steps up Ramadan support for families

On the special instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Nigehban Ramadan Bazaar in Chiniot has provided major relief to citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.

The bazaar offers essential food items at affordable prices and ensures organized arrangements, which have significantly reduced public hardships. As a result, families are visiting not only for shopping but also to spend quality time in a well-managed and welcoming environment.

Citizens have expressed satisfaction over the availability of daily-use items at controlled rates. Moreover, the clean environment and proper management have improved the overall shopping experience. Many visitors believe the initiative has eased financial pressure during Ramadan, especially for low-income families.

Meanwhile, at Samundri Bus Stand in Faisalabad, the Maryam Ke Mehman Nigehban Dastarkhwan provides free Iftar meals daily to hundreds of travelers and deserving individuals. This facility ensures that people can break their fast with dignity and comfort. The organized distribution system allows smooth arrangements without overcrowding or inconvenience.

People from different regions have appreciated these efforts. Visitors from Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan expressed gratitude after receiving Iftar at the Faisalabad Dastarkhwan. They acknowledged the provincial government’s commitment to supporting underprivileged communities during Ramadan.

Furthermore, these initiatives highlight the Punjab government’s focus on social welfare and public service. By combining affordable bazaars with free meal arrangements, the administration aims to reduce economic stress and promote community support during the holy month. Overall, the Nigehban Ramadan Bazaar and Dastarkhwan projects have received positive public feedback. The initiatives not only provide financial relief but also strengthen a sense of care and unity across the province during Ramadan.
