Kasur girl allegedly commits suicide after being blackmailed online

A 22-year-old woman, Muzammil Shahzadi, tragically ended her life in Kasur, under the jurisdiction of Allahabad police, reportedly due to sustained blackmail and mental pressure.

Police reports revealed that the accused, identified as Aamir, allegedly created obscene videos of the girl under the pretext of marriage and used them to extort and manipulate her. According to the First Information Report (FIR), Muzammil Shahzadi, who had lost her father, faced intense psychological pressure. It is alleged that the pressure escalated to the point that she was forced to commit suicide during a video call with the accused.

Authorities immediately registered a case and launched raids to apprehend Aamir. The FIR also notes that the victim had documented evidence of the blackmail and harassment through mobile records and other sources. This evidence forms the basis for the ongoing investigation.
