KP announces Winter vacations for Schools and Colleges 2023

PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) announced Winter vacations for the schools and colleges on Tuesday. All schools and colleges in the summer zone were notified to be closed from 23 December to 31 December.

The Education Department of KP issued a notification and informed the schools that come under the jurisdiction of the summer zone that winter vacations for the summer zone schools will start from December 23, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

Moreover, for schools and colleges in the Winter Zone, winter vacations are scheduled for a much longer period of time and the schools are scheduled to reopen again on February 29, 2024.

KP Schools Winter Vacations 2023

All schools and colleges in the mountainous range of KP will be closed for approximately 2.5 months and are scheduled to reopen at the end of February.

For the schools located in the winter zone, schools remain closed for a longer period of time because of the sheer cold of the region.

Temperature drops below the freezing point which marks a significant drop for such areas due to which schools and colleges are usually scheduled for longer winter vacations there.
