KP, Balochistan Schools winter vacations announced for 2023

BALOCHISTAN – Schools and Colleges across Pakistan are being closed due to the tough winter weather. The harsh weather has forced provincial governments to shut down education institutions and announce winter holidays.

The government announced that 2.5 month winter holidays will be given to the areas with the most severe winter climate. For such areas, the winter vacations will commence from December 25 to February of 2024.

The Secretary of Technical Education and Colleges announced that winter holidays for areas that are the most struck by the harsh winter weather will be forced to close from December 15th to February 29th.

The commencement of the new academic year will be from March 1, 2924.

Schools Winter Vacations 2023

All provinces have winter vacations for schools and colleges in 2023. Even though climate conditions have been varying in the provinces and there’s been a slight drizzle across Pakistan in early December, signs of rain are minimal as of now.

However, the temperature steadily drops which increases the chances of children getting sick due to the harsh weather, hence the announcement of winter vacations KP, Balochistan came through.
