LAHORE – Pakistan nationals who intend to travel to Kuwait on a work visa are required to get their visas protected from the concerned department by paying a certain fee and submitting required documents.
The visa protector provides several benefits to the visa holders. They can get complete legal protection and are entitled to full assistance from Pak-mission in the country of employment.
Legal assistance can be sought from the Community Welfare Attache at the Pakistan embassy in Kuwait. It also provides life insurance up to Rs 1 million.
Protector fee in Pakistan for Kuwait Work Visa
The applicant must deposit a fee of Rs 2,500 for the lump sum insurance of Rs 1 million. This is valid for 5 years. Moreover, each applicant must also pay a Rs 2,000 fee for Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF Welfare Fund). There’s a Rs 2,500 registration fee and service costs amount upto Rs 200. To break it down, the below mentioned fees:
Life insurance fee : Rs 2,500
OPF : Rs 2,000
Registration fee : Rs 2,500
OEC fee : Rs 200
Total fee : Rs 7,200
