Islamabad Driving License Renewal Fee [December 2023 Update]

ISLAMABAD – Driving without a valid driving license or driver’s permit on the roads of Islamabad can be very consequential as authorities might even impound your vehicle.

For individuals having an expired license, it’s imperative that they apply for a renewal as soon as possible. The renewal fee for Islamabad driving license changes from time. Let’s look at the latest fee for Islamabad driving license renewal in December 2023.

For individuals having their driving license expired for more than 3 years, the process is a bit hectic as they have to give their driving test all over again. However, applicants who’s license has been expired for less than 3 years, the process for them is a bit easier.

Applicants with less than 3 years of expiry just have submit a few documents and get their renewal.

How to Renew Driving License in Islamabad 

The applicant can either book an appointment with the Islamabad Traffic Police or just go to the center without an appointment.

Once you’re at the center, you need to show your original CNIC and get a token from the official.

After receiving the token, a form will be given to you by the official which you need to fill.

After filling the form, youwill need to pay renewal fee and a slip will be provided to you for the receival of renewed license.

Documents Required for Islamabad License Renewal

The following documents will be required for Islamabad License Renewal: 

  • A medical report from an authentic medical practioner
  • A B-Form from NADRA
  • Photocopies of your CNIC x 2
  • Expired Driving License 

Islamabad Driving License Renewal Fee 

The fee for an individual who’s expiry is less than one year is Rs 1,149 including NADRA verification.

The fee for an appicant who’s license expiry is between 1 and 3 years will be Rs 1,949.

Lastly, the fee for renewal after 3 years of expiry will be Rs 4,649.
