Ministry’s Smartphone Installment Scheme Policy Awaiting Approval

The Ministry of IT&T Smartphone Installment Scheme Policy is awaiting approval from two more Ministries before its launch as the policy has been finalized.

According to sources, the Smartphone installment scheme policy is awaiting the approval of the Finance Ministry and Law Ministry.

As per sources, the approval of the finalized policy is awaiting for approval of the Federal government before it officially launches.

The policy was sent to the government in December but came back in January as the government found vulnerabilities in the policy.

However, after the final endorsement the policy will officially launch.

Smartphones for All Scheme by Ministry of IT&T

Finally the much initiative has been launched by the Ministry which is going to enable the provision of smartphones for citizens of Pakistan.

This is also going to expand the mobile market in Pakistan as Pakistan already has 190 million active smartphone users.

The Ministry of IT&T ensures easy installment plans for all without any interest for smartphones ranging from 10,000 PKR to 100,000 PKR.

How to Apply for Smartphone for All Scheme in Pakistan 2024

The installment plans are going to range from 3 months to 12 months with the compliance of PTA and other Telecom operators in Pakistan.

All an applicant requires is a valid CNIC or ID card to apply for this scheme. There is no implicit eligibility criteria.
