In recent news, The Benazir Income Support Programme beneficiaries are to receive another good news. Official statements suggest that Mobile vehicle centers will start their operations by November. These centers will facilitate the beneficiaries living in the remote areas of the country who cannot easily access the centers located in the cities.
BISP Mobile Vehicle Centers
Mr. Ahmer Ali Ahmed, Secretary of BISP said in a statement that the induction process of the vehicles for this project started back in August. Now the process of vehicle induction is at its final stages and services are likely to commence by November. A number of 25 vehicles have been registered under the National Socio-Economic Registry. He also stated that this is being done for the deserving women of the country who are living in the remotest areas of the country. Their registration will be made simple and easy as the centers will go to them in the form of vehicles.
Centers in Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab
According to his statement, 19 centers will be made operational for Balochsistan while there are 5 centers for Sindh and one mobile center will be made available for Islamabad. Moreover, this is the first time in the history of Pakistan that both disabled and intersex people will be included for the registration.
BISP has been taking big steps for the betterment of women across the country. They’ve been providing fees for children as well in their new Taleemi Wazaif program.
