Nadra Family Registration Certificate fee update for September 2024

The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) is the competent body which issues the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) to Pakistani citizens.

FRC provides the family composition. It helps in Embassy use mostly, but cannot be used for any Legal requirement.

You can apply for FRC in the following three categories:

By Birth – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your parents and siblings.
By Marriage – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your spouse and children.
By Adoption – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your guardian.

Family Registration Certificate is issued to applicants which shows family composition of the applicant (by birth or by marriage) registered with Nadra.

If a person is not registered with Nadra and does not bear the 13 digit national ID number, their data will not be reflected in FRC.

Where to apply for FRC?

You can apply for your FRC by either visiting NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through Pak-Identity website.

How to make Nadra FRC Online in 2024?

Applying for an FRC has been made easier than ever before.

Nadra’s online Pakistan Identity portal now has an FRC option where you can send the required documents and obtain your FRC via email in 2 days time.

Follow the steps below to get your FRC online via the web:

Go to the Pak Identity Website of Nadra or download the PAK ID app on your mobile phone or tablet.
Register an account and choose your FRC type.
Once you choose your category, you’ll be asked to submit the required documents.
After you’ve sent the required documents, you’ll need to pay the necessary fee
Afterwards, you’ll get a mail on the designated email address you’ve provided. The email will contain your FRC in pdf format which you can download and print.
