NADRA presents a new, three-phase process of enrolling Pakistani children without hustle, either locally or internationally, in B-Form.
Being the only source of identity documents, NADRA makes it easier, and age-based forms have photos when required and expiry dates. This upgrade will guarantee updates in time and enhanced tracking between birth and adulthood.
To start with, parents enroll the newborns at the union council within one month after birth. NADRA issues Form B with no photo which is valid until a child is three years. The second stage comes immediately after the age of three as the child develops. This version includes a picture and remains active until the age of 10.
Afterward, when a family is above 10 years, they receive Form B three. It takes a photo of the child as well as iris fingerprints, and it is valid until the age of 18 years. NADRA encourages parents to keep the milestones on track. Once the former form has expired at three, go to the closest NADRA office with your child.
To make it easier, apply with the upgraded PakID mobile app whether at home, the app can easily handle biometrics and visa features. This application makes renewals easier, time-saving and trip-saving. The new system is based on the recent PakID improvements by NADRA, and identity management is now easier to the families.
The parents overseas are also benefiting as it connects the kids with the official records at an early age. Through such staging, NADRA combats delays and facilitates smooth transition to adult CNICs. With the digitization of services in Pakistan, the move empowers the family with secure step-by-step registration.
