Pakistan on Monday dispatched its 24th humanitarian consignment carrying 100 tons of food supplies to Gaza, the federal disaster management authority said, reaffirming the country’s continued support for Palestinians amid an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The aid was sent through a chartered flight as part of Pakistan’s continued efforts to support Palestinians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The latest shipment included essential food supplies such as flour, rice, sweet corn, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, and fruit cocktails. These items aim to help families struggling with severe shortages of food and other basic needs in Gaza.
This delivery marks Pakistan’s 24th humanitarian consignment to Gaza, increasing the total amount of relief sent so far to 2,327 tons. The ongoing assistance reflects the government’s commitment to standing with the people of Palestine, following the directive of the Prime Minister to continue sending aid as long as needed.
A send-off ceremony was organized at the airport before the flight’s departure. Officials from the NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives of the Alkhidmat Foundation attended the event. They emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to providing consistent humanitarian support to Gaza amid the worsening situation there.
Through this joint effort, Pakistan aims to deliver timely assistance to those in need and strengthen cooperation with humanitarian partners. The NDMA continues to coordinate closely with both local organizations and international agencies to ensure that the relief supplies reach the affected people efficiently. This latest initiative once again highlights Pakistan’s ongoing solidarity with the Palestinian people and its commitment to helping ease their suffering during one of the most difficult times in Gaza’s history.
