PM condoles with Malaysian counterpart over flood losses

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday held a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim to express solidarity over the recent Cyclone-induced floods

Speaking on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, as well as personally, he offered prayers for those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery for the injured and displaced. He also conveyed full solidarity with the Malaysian people during this difficult time, assuring them of Pakistan’s support for relief and rescue operations. The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan is ready to provide any assistance Malaysia requires to deal with the natural disaster effectively.

In response, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his thoughtful telephonic call.
