Punjab Driving License Fee for Car, Motorcycle Increased by a Staggering 1566%, Find out new license fees here

Punjab – The Lahore Traffic Police has informed the citizens that there will be a massive increase in driving license fees by the government. Authorities suggest that there’s an approximate rise of almost 1566% in the new license fees.

According to an X post by the Punjab Government, the license fee has been increased by a massive 1566% and it has gone from Rs 60 to Rs 1,000 now.

However, the government states that citizens still have time till December 31, after December 31 they will have to pay Rs 1,000 for obtaining the Driving License.

The government has received a lot of backlash for this decision as the citizen’s voice states that now that they have started complying with the rules and regulations of the Government, the massive increase in fee is not good.

Previously, the government has already announced that a fine of Rs 2,000 will be issued to drivers bearing only a Learner’s permit and driving on major roads.
