Punjab Schools Winter Vacations 2023 announced by Government

Due to the harsh winter weather, the Provincial government is all set to announce winter vacations for Punjab. Some claimed that the authorities might announce the winter vacations early due to smog but no official notification has been issued by the provincial government yet.

Just last week, in some parts of the Punjab a three-day weekend was announced due to high levels of pollution. However, even with the high levels of air pollution and smog, schools were still open on Monday.

According to sources, the government hasn’t issued any notification on the extension of winter holidays even though some news outlets claimed that Winter vacations have been extended by the government.

The winter vacations this year are scheduled like last year and are tentative to begin from December 24th to January 9th.

An official notification is yet to be issued by the School Education Department.
