LAHORE – In recent news, a big step has been taken by CM Maryam Nawaz to help people by building housing societies in six cities across the province.
This decision was made at a meeting led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore. She said it’s important to act quickly and ordered individuals to find suitable locations in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi.
She also told officials to think carefully about everything that’s important to make sure these housing schemes are easy for low-income people to get to and use in these cities.

Since becoming Punjab’s first female Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz has shown that she cares about helping the public with different projects.
Recently, CM Maryam Nawaz aso introduced the Ramazan Nigehban scheme and helping people buy E-bikes through easy and interest-free installment plans.
Before this, on March 18, Maryam Nawaz Sharif also hinted at launching metro bus projects in three more cities of Punjab.
This approval happened at a meeting in Lahore under the supervision of PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, showing the party’s support for these kinds of projects.
During the meeting, they looked carefully at transportation plans for Lahore, and the Chief Minister also showed interest in seeing if it’s possible to build an underground train for the city.
