Security forces eliminate 4 terrorists in Balochistan raid

Pakistani security forces gunned down four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the ISPR said on Tuesday.

Security forces carried out a major intelligence-based operation on the night of November 1, 2025, targeting militants linked to the India-backed group Fitna al-Hindustan. According to the military’s media wing, troops engaged the hideout with precision and killed four terrorists involved in multiple attacks inside Pakistan. Authorities also seized weapons and ammunition from the location.

Following the raid, security forces launched a sanitization operation in the surrounding area to ensure no additional militants were hiding nearby. Officials said Pakistan’s counterterrorism drive under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision will continue without pause to eliminate foreign-sponsored networks operating inside the country.

Meanwhile, a day earlier security forces foiled an infiltration attempt along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan. Troops detected the movement of militants trying to cross into Pakistan and responded immediately. As a result, two terrorists linked to the India-supported group Fitna al-Khawarij were killed during a precise engagement.

In another incident on November 2, security personnel killed a third militant associated with the same network during a separate confrontation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. One of the dead militants, identified as Qasim, was reportedly an Afghan national and a former member of the Afghan Border Police. Officials noted his role in assisting cross-border movement of militants.

Authorities stated that these actions highlight Pakistan’s firm resolve to prevent hostile networks from operating across the border. They added that security forces, backed by law-enforcement agencies, will continue intelligence-driven operations to neutralize threats and protect national security.
