ISLAMABAD – In shocking news, at least 15 tourists were stranded on the roads inside their vehicles in Galyat due to the immense snowfall on Wednesday.
Rescue 1122 teams were sent over to the regions to help the snow-affected tourists stranded o n the roads for long periods of times.
The teams successfully pulled out several vehicles from Galyat’s highly snow-affected areas and took them to safety.
Moreover, they warned the general public and tourists to be cautious about the weather updates and avoid travelling to such areas.

However, the tourists captivated by the beauty of the country’s famous hilly area continue to arrive despite the warnings and slippery roads.
Officials have repeatedly urged citizens to follow the guidelines and avoid travelling in such snow-hit areas at the moment due to the westerly wave.
A westerly wave is affecting several regions of the country including Galyat and numerous regions in the upper and central part of the country.
The PMD warns of rain-windstorm, and snowfall over hills in Abbottabad, Bajaur, Buner, Charsadda, Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Kohistan, Khyber, Mansehra, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Shangla, Swabi, Swat, and Dir.
Earlier in the month, Gwadar was greatly affected by flash floods and heavy rainfalls devastated the areas nearby as well.
