[Watch] Ex-CJP Qazi Faez Isa’s car ‘vandalised’ by PTI supporter

A supporter of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday reportedly vandalised the car of former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

The former top judge was at London’s Middle Temple for an event after relinquishing his charge as Chief Justice of Pakistan.

An video circulating on social media allegedly shows the PTI supporter waiting for Qazi Faez Isa’s car to leave the Middle Temple before attempting to vandalise the vehicle.

The party had warned of protests against the former chief justice, who retired on October 25 following a full court reference where senior lawyers recounted his tenure’s highlights.

He is succeeded by Justice Yahya Afridi.

Justice Afridi was nominated by a Special Parliamentary Committee (SPC), which was formed under the recently legislated 26th Amendment.
