The procession will begin from Street No. 22 and conclude at Imambargah Jafriya, according to an ITP official.
To ensure the safety of participants, the service road along I-9/1 will remain closed to all vehicles during the entire event. Authorities have advised drivers to use alternate routes, including IJP Road and Warsak Road near I-9 Markaz, to avoid traffic congestion. In addition, Street No. 18 and the service road near Imambargah I-9/1 will also be closed for traffic. Citizens are encouraged to use Mangal Bazaar I-9 and the IJP Principal Road for smooth travel during the procession hours.
Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Zeeshan Haider has urged the public not to park vehicles on or near the procession route. He stressed that all cars must be parked only at approved and designated locations. The traffic police have requested public cooperation and asked commuters to strictly follow traffic directions to ensure smooth movement and security throughout the event. This plan aims to maintain order, prevent road blockages, and ensure the safety of all participants and citizens.
