ISPR Announces successful training launch of Pakistan’s Ghauri Weapons System

Another great feat accomplished by the Armed Forces of Pakistan. A successful training launch was conducted by ISPR for the new Ghari weapons system on Tuesday.

According to ISPR, this launch marked as a great victory for Pakistan and was observed by the senior personnel from ASFC and several engineers and high-profile individuals from Strategic forces and several other organizations.

The commander praised the readiness and the handling of the weapons system and stated that it was a great and proficient display of handling the weapons and achieving targeted objectives. ISPR also stated that prior to the test, the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan alongside the Chairman of Joint Chief of Staffs and the Chiefs of Services stated that they were happy and proud of the training and they also congratulated the personnel involved on this success.

The Ghauri missile has an impressive range of 1,300 kilometers and has the capability of carrying both the traditional weapons alongside nuclear warheads. This weapons system is seen as the backbone of Pakistan’s missile technology.
