The Israel-Palestine issue has shocked the world. On 7th October, 2023, some members of Hamas had voluntarily attacked Israel. Israel has shown a brute show of force and has been on a rampage since. There have been constant attacks over hospitals, ambulances, and killing hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilians including women and children. These attacks have been strongly condemned by Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey while some countries have taken the grey area as refuge.
The UK and USA have extended their hand to Israel and have shown solidarity with Israel as they claim Israel has a right to defend itself. Amidst this humanitarian crisis, the Muslim nations have strongly condemned these attacks stating that this is a planned genocide and Israel has been committing war crimes against Gaza for as long as 50 years now.
Such examples have been seen during the month of October as Israel has been bombarding Palestine with Phosphorous bombs. These bombs are forbidden in warfare as they cause an immense amount of destruction and have long lasting respiratory effects on the human body. Moreover, the slaughtering of innocent civilians and this inhumane massacre of women and children has shown that this is definitely not a war but a planned Genocide.
Relief Support for The Victims of Gaza by Pakistan
Amidst this massacre, Israel has strongly urged no support to be sent for Gaza as it has threatened neighbouring nations such as Egypt to stop aid aimed for the people of Gaza. However, recently in an official statement the route has been opened and aid is going for the people of Gaza, who are suffering from this brutality from Israeli forces.
Following this, on Thursday, October 19, Pakistan has sent its first relief convoy to the victims of Gaza via Egypt. The convoy will first land at Egypt, where it will be dismounted and the relief items will be dispatched towards Gaza through Egypt.
The relief convey contains an approximate of 1,000 relief tents for this harsh winter approaching. Moreover, the convey also contains 4,000 blankets and an impressive three tons of medicine. Hopefully, this may be the first convoy of may to be sent for Gaza as they have been constantly bombarded by Israel for almost 2 weeks now.
