However, once the rumours reached the officials, the Consul-General denied all rumours and stated that they were baseless and no such thing had happened.

However, on 13th Sep, there was an X post by the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi that there will be a delay in the issuance of urgent and normal passports. They stated that the normal passport will be issued in 2 months while the urgent passport will be issued with a delay time of 1 month.
