ISLAMABAD – A key development is underway as both Pakistan and India have jointly issued 60 visas to each other’s diplomats, according to sources.
India has reportedly issued visas to 25 Pakistani diplomats while Pakistan in return has issued 35 visas to Indian diplomats.
Pakistan and India have seen a recent surge in proxy-stress as Pakistan states that it has crucial evidence linking Indian agents to assassinations on its soil.
India has also issued a visa to Saad Warraich who was appointed the new Charge’ d ‘affairs of India recently.
It is observed that the visas are not awarded to senior diplomats but junior diplomats only and for administrative personnel.
Recently, a Pakistani official made headlines after he claimed that he had substantial proof of India planning assassinations in Pakistan and other parts of the world.
Pakistan Foreign Secretary, Syrus Sajjad stated that Pakistan has “credible evidence” that links India with these killings which raised tensions between the two countries.
He stated, “These were killings-for-hire cases involving a sophisticated international setup spread over multiple jurisdictions”.
Qazi stated that two Indian agents by the name of Yogesh Kumar and Anand Kumar have orchestrated these target killings on Pakistani soil and that we have evidence of it.
He further stated that, ‘They fit the pattern of similar cases which have come to light in other countries including Canada and the United States,” Qazi said. “Clearly the Indian network of extrajudicial and extraterritorial killings has become a global phenomenon”.
However, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs states that, “Pakistan’s latest attempt at peddling false and malicious anti-India propaganda”.
India has constantly used the media to spread propaganda for the good of the BJP and the Modi government to fuel hatred for Muslims, especially Pakistanis.
