Dubai: UAE has always had strict policies for visas. In recent news, UAE announced that employees who did not register themselves in the job loss insurance scheme will find it challenging to renew their visa in UAE.
Sources suggest that UAE is all set to fine such individuals and the payment will be deducted from their salaries. The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has already announced that Administration measures are already in place.
The Ministry also stated that individuals who don’t register by the given deadline will have to pay a hefty fine of almost 400 AED. Moreover, individuals may also be liable for a 200 AED extra fine after 90 days if they’re part of the premium insurance.
The workers in the freezone are not obligated to sign up, but new individuals who came searching for a job in the UAE will have a maximum of 120 days to register themselves in the scheme.
