ISLAMABAD – The Benazir Income Support Program has started its quarterly disbursement of Benazir Kafalat Program for the last quarter of 2023. The payment for October-December is being sent to beneficiaries all around the country.
Sources suggest that payments have started coming in from all provinces. Sources from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, and Gilgit Baltistan have stated that payments have started coming in.
A total of Rs 8,500 are coming to families across the country registered under the BISP fund. There’s approximately 9 million families registered across the country.

For any complaints, the Beneficiaries can contact the helpline or visit the nearest BISP centre for more information. The toll-free helpline number is 080026477.
A special control room has been established by BISP to take care of complaints. Moreover, the beneficiaries can also contact BISP on WhatsAppas well. The following numbers are allocated for their specific provinces.

BISP only utilises the 8171 number and any fake SMS or call asking beneficiaries to deposit an initial amount to receive their funds are fake and should be reported to the police.

The Chairperson BISP, Dr Amjad has ensured the smooth transfer of funds and has directed officials to ensure that beneficiaries receive these funds timely and in an efficient manner.
He visited several centres in Sialkot, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Chakwa, Okinawa, and ensured that the people coming to receive funds in person are treated in a respectable manner.He also stated that women should be dealt with in a respectful manner.
BISP is currently supporting 9 million families. With the increased effort and funds from BISP many families can alleviate their worries by ensuring proper education is being provided to their children. The Chairman has ensured that weak and poverty ridden families need to be brought up above the poverty line to increase their quality of life.
