Finance Ministry shares Important Update regarding the Delay of Government Employees Salaries

ISLAMABAD – As per sources, the salaries of government employees have been delayed by the Finance Ministry upon which they also shared an important update regarding the delay.

There have been several news articles stating the Finance Ministry is delaying salaries of January 2024 for government employees. However, after the Finance Ministry got notice of the situation they let out an important update.

The update by the Finance Ministry stated that all such news are baseless and have no authentic origin. They are only used to spread chaos among the general populous.

Furthermore, they stated that news airing on private TV channels stating the delay in salaries are not authentic at all as the salaries will be dispersed on time.

However, the Ministry stated that there might be a delay in the release of development funds and the salaries of government employees of the Federal capital.

Delay in Salaries of Government Employees

Due to the spread of the fake news, chaos erupted among the employees of the public sector as well. 

However, when they contacted the finance ministry, they stated that no such notification has been issued by the Finance Ministry.

Moreover, the Finance Ministry also stated that all the Asian nations are on track to meet the IMF SBA deal.
