Following the approval of the Hajj Policy 2025 by the federal cabinet, the citizens of Pakistan may want to know about the per person cost, compensation for injuries, as well as age limit for certain groups when it comes to the annual pilgrimage.
The Hajj Policy 2025 indicates how many quotas have been reserved for certain organizations, including the government and private operators, who would each receive 89,605 pilgrims.
A little over 1,000 pilgrims and roughly 300 low-income workers who are registered with the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) comprise the labor sector’s quota in the interim.

The federal cabinet has also raised the compensation for deceased pilgrims from the previous Rs1,000,000 to Rs2,000,000 with compensation for injured set at Rs1,000,000 as part of the Hajj Policy 2025.
Last but not least, children under 12 years of age have been barred from performing Hajj alongside their parents next year.
