In a recent development the Sindh High court has barred all educational boards from taking examination and certificate fees from Matric and Inter students.
The decision as led by the SHC Sukkur Bench, Justice Arbab and Justice Iqbal after a review plea was submitted by Educational boards.
The Sindh High Court stated that a separate budget will be allotted to the educational boards and students will now be exempted from paying certificate and examination fees.
This is incredibly advantageous to students as they had to pay a substantial amount of money for the issuance of certificates and for examinations.
Furthermore, amidst this development, another issue has also caught the eye of the general public as students of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) are protesting for unfair marking.
Many students can not believe that they have failed and they are paying Rs 400 for scrutiny of their papers.
A committee has been set up to investigate the matter and find out why the majority of students are complaining about unfair marking.
