Online passport renewal fee in Pakistan [January 2024 update]

LAHORE – The Directorate General of Immigration and Passport has launched online service for renewal of passports for both inland and overseas Pakistanis.

If the passport has not yet expired but has 12 months or less validity, the applicant can apply online in renewal category to acquire a machine readable passport.

The applicant may be required to visit the nearest passport office if the authorities require to conduct applicant’s interview . The applicant must select the nearest passport office while filling in the application.

Before stating the online application, the applicants need to get registered with the online portal at the first step. Later, the applicants will prepared the photograph and supporting documents to start the process.

Step-By-Step Process For Renewal of Passport

Create an application for passport and provide details of your application.

Provide your address for machine readable passport delivery.

Pay Fee through a Credit Card/Debit Card.

Provide your present and permanent addresses.

Upload your photograph.

Upload the supporting documents required by the application.

Download the form, capture the 4 fingerprints asked by the system. Set the scanner at 600 DPI, JPEG/JPG and Grayscale. Scan and upload the form.

Review the information you provided, sign the declaration and then submit the application.
