Punjab issues a Whopping 1.9 million new Learner Driving Licenses or Learner Permits through DLIMS

LAHORE – Punjab has now issued more than 2.6 million driving licenses after the crackdown out of which a whopping 1.9 million learner permits or learner driving licenses were issued using the DLIMS.

This shows that the enormous number of applications have been filed online through the DLIMS online platform.

PTIB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated at a meeting held at Arfa Software Technology Park that the Driving License Issuance and Management System has greatly reduced the influ of applicants at Khidmat centers and police stations.

Moreover, almost 651,000 individuals have obtained their driving license from Khidmat Markaz while another 23,000 individuals gained theirs from police stations.

However, thanks to DLIMS, a whopping 200,000 people have opted for the renewal of license online using the DLIMS system while only a handful of individuals approximately 23,000 renewed their licenses from Khidmat Centers.
