Punjab Schools and Colleges Winter Vacations [Latest Update]

LAHORE – The Punjab government announced the extension of winter vacations for schools and colleges. The extension comes in the wake of the sheer cold and the increasing levels of smog in the regions.

As the winter vacations for Punjab are about to extend, there is a high probability that winter vacations for schools in Punjab will be extended due to the harsh weather approaching in the coming few days and weeks.

There have been several reports on the extension of winter vacations in Punjab. Numerous social media outlets and accounts stated that due to the ongoing climatalogical situation, education institutions will remain closed as the winter vacations will be extended.

However, as of yet no official notification has been issued by the Punjab Government. Lahore is facing yet again, the worst smog in the country. Despite the Artificial Rain in Lahore, the smog situation continues to worsen across the entire city.

Similarly, other reasons surrounding Lahore are also suffering due to the insane amount of fog during the morning and throughout the entire day. It would be challenging for students to attend school comfortable to pursue their education due to this.

The Punjab government is likely to extend the winter vacations but as of yet no official notification has been issued by the government yet.
