During the National T20 tournament in Karachi, middle-order Batsman Azam Khan has been fined 50% match fees due to the violation of ICC’s code of conduct regarding clothing. Sources suggest that the Batsman was warned beforehand about displaying the unapproved logo on his bat.
Azam Khan is playing for Karachi Whites and he scored 35 runs against Lahore Blues on Sunday. The batter had a Palestinian flag engraved on the outside of his bat. After scoring 35 runs, Azam Khan Was called by the umpire to have a talk.

Sources suggest that the Batsman has been fined 50% of match fees by ICC. Experts suggest that the display of Palestinian flag on the bat was a direct breach of ICC’s code of conduct regarding clothing. The code of conduct states that the players not use any racial, discriminatory, political, and religious slogan or logo on their clothing.
Sources suggest that Azam Khan had informed the referee that all his bats have the same logo on it. Moreover, Azam Khan had also displayed the same logo in 2 of his previous games, but nobody had warned the batsman beforehand.
Similarly, questions also arose due to Pakistan team’s solidarity posts over X posts in the ICC Cricket World cup 2023 held in India. However, ICC did not find any player and stated that the slow of solidarity is a personal decision by the team and does not violate ICCs code of conduct.
