Winter Vacations for Schools Extended till January 15 by the Government

ISLAMABAD – The government of Azad Jammu Kashmir has made a decision to extend the winter vacations after the sheer cold weather is not allowing students to continue their educational activities.

The new notification comes in the wake of severe fog conditions in AJK and temperatures dropping below the freezing point.

A severe cold wave has grasped many areas of Pakistan as temperatures during the day and the night in some areas are dangerously low.

Moreover, a notification is issued by the Bhimber Deputy Commissioner stating that all private and government schools will remain closed till January 15 due to the ongoing cold wave.

A strict notice was also issued that any school that violates the notification and chooses to call students will be sealed and their registration will be cancelled.
