NADRA Pak ID app streamlined for Family Registration : Here’s what you should know

NADRA has been taking initiative after initiative for facilitating the citizens as Pakistan is now developing its IT infrastructure for the ease of citizens. Nadra’s official Pak Identity portal has been of great help as it has facilitated citizens for online applications. However, they added a new feature to it recently as well.

Family Registration Certificate:  NADRA Pak Identity

The family registration certificate or short for FRC is a crucial document for individuals. Before this initiative, it was a hectic task to visit the NADRA office for obtaining an FRC. However, NADRA has now announced that they will be facilitating their citizens by providing Family Registration Certificates online as well. They gave a step by step process in their official X post. This has made the Family registration certificate easy to obtain for many citizens residing in Pakistan or abroad.

They stated that the Pak Identity portal now has a new feature in which you can apply for an FRC online. The candidate needs to submit the necessary documents over at Pak Identity NADRA portal alongside the CNIC of the applicant. Moreover, the required documents will include the CNIC of the applicant and complete information of heirs. Afterwards, NADRA will put a public notice on their website and the news needs to be published in the newspaper as well. 

If no objection comes in under 14 days, NADRA will then print the certificate. However, do know that after the documentation process is complete, all candidates must visit the NADRA centre for their biometric and verification. Moreover, you can look for the nearest NADRA centre or NADRA office on google maps. You can also visit the Pak identity portal if you haven’t already. This has made the NADRA family registration much easier, especially for overseas Pakistanis.
