In recent news, a massive raid was conducted by the authorities in Multan. The Airport Security Force (ASF) conducted a raid over Multan’s International Airport that led to the arrest of a passenger carrying an approximate of 0.1M Dirhams from UAE to Dubai.
Mohammad Boota Carrying 115,780 UAE Dirhams
Sources suggest that the passenger was named as Mohammad Boota and he had an overwhelming 115,780 UAE Dirhams on him. He was scheduled to fly to Dubai and take the Dirhams to Dubai via the flight Fly Dubai ZF-340. Officials from the ASF reported that the culprit has been arrested and has been handed over to the custom authorities.
The Dirhams converted to Pakistani rupee as of today make up almost Rs 8,682,583. This amount being carried by a single passenger in the form of physician cash is not just prohibited but could also lead to several other things. Authorities have not issued any further statement on the passenger’s whereabouts or the reason for this act.
12,000 Fake Pakistani Passports also caught by UAE Govt
In other news, the UAE government has caught 12,000 fake Pakistani passports and handed them to the Pakistani Embassy. This could potentially lead to rise in tensions between Pakistan and the UAE as more and more frauds and scams are being caught.
